*ANANYA POV*
I unlock the door to my house and the second I put one foot inside my parents jump on me.
-"Ana! Where have you been!? I've been calling you none stop for the past hour! You said you would come straight home after piano class!" My mom shouts.
-"I have a little accident." I say looking for my words as I search for my phone in my purse.
-"An accident!? Are you hurt?" She says trying to not yell and a bit more concerned then before.
-"Yeah I had stopped to get a coffee and well I bumped into someone and I dropped my coffee all over me. So the person who ran into me offered to get me a new shirt and pay me a new coffee." I explain.
-"And it never passed threw your mind to call me...YOUR MOM... about your whereabouts."
-"Yes, well no, but anyways my phone was almost dead and on silent."
-"Go to your room as I think of a punishment. That's no excuse. Now run along, and don't argue with me." She tells me so I nod and quickly make my way to my room. I lay down on my bed and just fall asleep.
----The next day----
As I make my way to school my best friend runs into me, on purpose of course.
-"Ana! Will you ever take that thing out of your hands?" My best friend Jake says grabbing my phone.
-"Jake! Not funny. Give it back." I say as I jump around him to try and grab it back.
-"No. Ana I declare you have a phone addiction!" He says as I pull him down to the ground with me as I fall.
-"Jakieee. You know I hate you so much." I say after I fall on my back and he lands over me.
-"Oh I hate you too darling." He replies. Usually he would of gotten back up but this time he stayed over top of me and just looked me in the eyes for a while. I feel him going in closer but so many toughs pass inside my head. I think to myself that this could be amazing, going out with my best friend, but also how it could all be so bad. So without thinking I pull away, grab my phone and get up.
-"Hum I'm gonna be late for class. Catch you later! Bye." I quickly spit out and run off to my classes. As I sit down at my desk I finally get to check my messages. Everything seemed normal, a few messages from friends and other stuff but one message was new.
'Hey Ana! Sorry I ran off on you this morning... I can't explain my reasons as they are private, but I'd love to grab your number in hopes to see you again :)'. I just can't help but blush. I quickly reply without hesitation. I type in my phone number and tell him it's all alright. He almost instantly text me back asking me if I want to meet up to make up for yesterday, and I accept. When the day had ended I managed to avoid Jake like a pro up until I was about to leave.
-"Ana can we talk?" He says.
-"I kind of have to go meet someone..."
-"It wasn't really a question.'' He says closing my locker and pulling me to a private area in the school.
-"Look Ana..."
-"Jake we don't have to talk about it. It was an accident right. Your girlfriend dumped you a week ago and you miss her. I understand. It's okay."
-"No Ana. It was not an accident. The real story is that Melissa broke up with me because she could not stand me hanging out with you and she hated the idea. She told me 'I can see the way you look at her, you used to look at me the same way when we first started going out, but now you look at me and there's nothing.' I had no idea what to say. She told me that I could change her mind I just had to prove it, but I stood there like an idiot and watched her walk away."
-"Jake you-" I start but he cuts me off.
-"I let her walk away because she was right. I could not love her like she should be loved, because she was right. And I can't hold it in anymore." He says and grabs me gently and without letting me talk or think he kisses me gently. And as his lips press against mine I can feel my phone buzzing and I knew it was Harry wondering where I was but I was not capable of thinking at the moment. I was more then confused and my brain was just spinning.
